So now what do you do?
IF YOU'VE DOSED FOR 23 OR MORE DAYS (AND REACHED YOUR GOAL BEFORE DAY 50):
If you have gone past 23 days on the spray -- continue on to Phase 3A, beginning with a "Transition" period: 24-72 hours of 500 calories/day (but no starches or sugars -- basically, P2 without the melba or grissini) until your hunger sets in. Don't exceed 3 days of "transition." Skip to "AFTER TRANSITION" below.
IF YOU DOSED LESS THAN 23 DAYS (BUT REACHED YOUR GOAL):
Okay, can we be honest? Things will look a little different in your case, You're a little out-of-the-ordinary -- but that's okay! If you have not reached the minimum of 23 days on the spray, you need to keep dosing until that day is reached.
However -- you'll keep losing weight if you don't increase your daily calorie intake. You should increase your calories from 500 to between 800 and 1000 a day until you have completed the 23 days of dosing.
On your 23rd day, mark your weight in the morning as your LSW (Last Spray Weight). This is the weight you will use to calculate Phase 3. You can stop dosing after your morning or evening dose. It doesn't matter.
For you, like others, Phase 3 begins after you stop dosing -- but remember, you're a little different, and you don't need any "Transition" period. So for you, Day 1 of Phase 3 begins immediately at "Day 24." You begin increasing your calorie amount to achieve a maintenance level by using one of the calorie calculators.
Once your hunger sets in, or 3 days have passed, increase your calories to your recommended calories from one of the Calorie Calculators.
MINIMUM CALORIE INTAKE:
Based upon a dialogue Rob had with a doctor who administers this protocol in her clinic, Rob set a minimum of 1500 calories on Phase 3. Unless you are particularly petite, small-framed, or under other medical restrictions, etc., you should eat at least 1500 calories/day.
